Recognition and management of dependencies attached to tasks, resulting in activities accomplished in the appropriate order.

3. Conflict Resolution.

Example: A project manager can address dissent among the team members regarding methodology as in the case of a research project by facilitating a discussion.

4. Ongoing Assessment of Progress: –

Involves an appraisal of tasks and how they relate to the complete project with key performance indices applicable to their relevance to the plan.

Case in point: The manager tracks design, coding, and phase of testing by using some KPIs like task completion percentage, and defect rates in software projects.

5. Communication

On-going and open communication with project members and stakeholders regarding current and up-to-date, issues and aligned with the project mission.

Example: Regular meetings with the subcontractors, engineers, and clients could provide a pathway for information about the progress or deviation made by a construction project.
